The Scheetz-Biermann Organ

The plaque on this instrument reads, “This organ is given to the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, Seattle, Washington for the glory of God and in memory of their mothers by Frederick and Connie Scheetz, in honor whereof it bears the name 'The Scheetz-Biermann Organ' which was blessed for the use of this community during the most holy celebration of the Mass by the Reverend Dominic David Maichrowicz, O.P. on the first day in October, the year of our Lord two-thousand twenty-three.”

Built as their Op. 163 by CB Fisk of Gloucester, Massachusetts, this 7-stop continuo contains multitudinous musical possibilities and is used for weddings, funerals, weekly Masses, and for the accompaniment of the Divine Office. It is also used in concerts at Blessed Sacrament as both a solo and continuo instrument.
