Save the date and plan to join us for an evening featuring the sacred compositions of Roman Catholic composer Claudio Monteverdi, performed by the Blessed Sacrament Schola Cantorum, Sackbut Ensemble, and Baroque Orchestra performing on period instruments. 

Plan to begin your evening with a Choral Mass ad orientem at 5:30 PM, which will feature compositions by Monteverdi as well.  After Mass, there will be a pre-concert reception downstairs in the Parish Hall at 6:45 PM, along with the delightful food pairing of champagne and Twinkies! 

The concert will begin at 7:30 PM (doors open at 7:10 PM).  Ticket required for concert only.

Blessed Sacrament's annual performance of Handel's complete Messiah oratorio is not to be missed!  Mark your calendar and plan to join us for an evening of sacred music in anticipation of Advent and the glorious birth of our Messiah!  Music will be performed by the Blessed Sacrament Soloists, Schola Cantorum, and Baroque Orchestra performing on period instruments.  The concert will begin at 7:30 PM (doors open at 7:10 PM).

Join us as we celebrate the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, which occurs forty days after the birth of Jesus and is also known as Candlemas, because the blessing and procession of candles is included in the liturgy.   Begin your evening with Choral Mass at 5:30 PM, featuring sacred compositions by Victoria, Byrd, Eccard, and Lassus.  After Mass there will be a short pre-ception in the Parish Hall (with Southern Comfort and pancakes!), followed by the concert, which will feature compositions by Telemann, Vivaldi, Gabrieli, and more, performed by the Blessed Sacrament Schola Cantorum, Sackbut Ensemble, and Baroque Orchestra.  Tickets are required for the concert only.

Blessed Sacrament's Choral Masses, listed below, feature special selections of sacred music performed by our Blessed Sacrament soloists, Schola Cantorum, Sackbut Ensemble, and/or Baroque Orchestra.  Choral Masses are frequently celebrated on the first Sunday of the month at the 5:45 PM Mass, and on solemnities and feast days.
