An Advent of Hope
“He came into the world, becoming a man like us, to bring His plan of love to fullness. And God demands that we become a sign of his action in the world. Through our faith, our hope, our love, He wants to enter the world again and again He wants to shine His light in our night.” Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI.

The Option to Hope, a talk by Fr. Thomas Aquinas Pickett, OP
Thursday, December 6, 7:00-9:00 PM (Parish Hall)
Sunday, December 9, 10:45-11:45 AM (UCDS - TEC)
Crises, scandals, wars, and division. Should we be overwhelmed by these evils and surrender to despair? Should we naively turn a blind eye to them and retreat into safe spaces? Or is there a third option? Come explore theological and spiritual insights into the virtue of hope garnered from the teachings of St. Thomas Aquinas.

Please consider offering a donation of $15, in honor of a loved one, living or deceased. All intentions received on or before December 17 will be published in the Christmas Bulletin. Christmas Flower Offering envelopes are in the racks in the Church vestibules.
