The Parish Choir

The Parish Choir is a group of volunteers who sing the weekly 9am Mass in addition to 5:30pm on Holy Days of Obligation. The ensemble draws from a wide variety of the sacred repertoire including Renaissance motets, classical and baroque masterworks, and music of the English cathedral tradition. Performance standards for this group are very high and independent note learning is required. Resources are made available for those who do not read music or those looking to practice with other parts present. Rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings from 7-9pm and the group is open by audition, meaning you are guaranteed a spot in the choir (contingent on being able to match pitch) but must sing privately for the director so that you can be placed in the correct section. Contact the Director of Sacred Music for more information or to schedule an audition. mplagerman@bspwa.org
