Caitlin Hennessy

Caitlin Hennessy is a Seattle-based soprano praised for her warm, full, lyrical voice, glorious high notes, and communicative artistry. She serves as the assistant director of sacred music at Blessed Sacrament, where she directs the Frassati Choir and sings in both the Cantorei and Parish Choir. An active soloist, she is frequently featured in major concert works at the parish, with notable performances including Handel’s Messiah and Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater.

Dedicated to vocal development and collaboration, Caitlin produces and performs in an annual art song concert at Blessed Sacrament, bringing in guest vocal coaches to work directly with the staff singers. Past performance highlights for the series include Poulenc’s Fiançailles pour rire and Schubert's Der Hirt auf dem Felsen. An avid chamber musician, her recent regional performances include a collaborative concert featuring Brahms duets and early sacred works by Francesca Caccini and Chiara Margarita Cozzolani.

Beyond her administrative and performance career, Caitlin maintains a dedicated private voice studio in the Seattle area. She holds a master's degree in vocal performance from the University of Washington and a bachelor's degree in vocal performance from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.
