Zachary Rude

Staff Tenor

 

Tenor Zachary Rude is a graduate of Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, where he earned a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. He recently graduated with a Masters of Music in Voice from the University of Washington where he studied with Professor Thomas Harper. Zach has sung operatic roles such as Count Almaviva in Rossini’s The Barber of Seville (Concordia), Hans Sach’s trainer in David Little’s Vinkensport (University of Washington), and Philemon in Haydn’s marionette-opera Philemon und Baucis (University of Washington). Zach will be singing with Tacoma Opera in their upcoming 2023-2024 season as part of their Young Artist Program. Zach is a teacher of dozens of students at Moore Brothers Music in Sammamish where he teaches piano and voice.
