Tenor Staff Singer Position

Blessed Sacrament Parish is currently seeking a principal Tenor Staff Singer to provide high quality singing and vocal support for 2-3 Sunday Masses as well as for Feast Days & Solemnities, the Traditional Dominican Rite as well as perform in our Annual Concert Series.

Blessed Sacrament Parish is the proprietor of a vibrant Music Ministry that has served the greater Seattle/Metro area since 1908!

As a “destination” Parish, people travel from across the state to attend our Liturgical Celebrations, Sacred Music Programs and Concerts.

Emulous salary; additional stipends for Funerals and Weddings; numerous solo opportunities; year-round employment.

Candidates should possess the ability and willingness to read notes of both the round and square variety, being proficient in both English and Latin.

REPERTOIRE: Dominican & Gregorian Chant - Antiphons and Mass Ordinaries (weekly), Cantatas (ex. Bach, Charpentier, Telemann), Polyphonic Motets (weekly), Polyphonic Mass Ordinaries (monthly), Missa Brevis (Classical Era), Anthems, Hymnody and 17th and 18th Century Concert Repertoire all accompanied by our various professional Early Music ensembles “in residence”.

Blessed Sacrament Parish is the home to the Blessed Sacrament Baroque Orchestra, Chancel Choir, Jerome Ensemble, Laudate Ensemble, Sackbut Ensemble, Schola Cantorum and Women's Schola.

Practicing Roman Catholics obsessed with Early Music are preferred.
