One of Seattle's prominent, historic landmarks, Blessed Sacrament Church was seriously damaged in the Nisqually
earthquake of February 28, 2001. Once the damage was secured, restoration of the church building began in earnest.
Workers undertook the daunting task of masonry repairs to the exterior brickwork and window casings, roof repairs,
interior sand-blasting of the painted brick walls, as well as an ambitious seismic retrofit of the entire structure.
The Blessed Sacrament Church Restoration Project is contracted through Belfor Construction, with Pacific Engineering, Bumgardner,
Waco Scaffolding, Masonry Specialists, Queen City Roofing, Seattle Painting Specialists, Lockett Construction, Seattle Stained Glass,
D and K Electric, and Quality Landscaping.
